Mandala Design Adobe Illustrator
As an introduction to Adobe Illustrator, students learned how to rotate an object around a center, manipulate line weights, and work with color to create radial symmetry in Mandalas, while also learning about the history and meaning of this universal symbol in many cultures and time periods.

In this project, students used Adobe Illustrator to design a set, characters, and props that were cut out with a laser cutter. The pieces were used in a theatrical shadow puppet production of Lewis Carrol's famous poem, Jabberwocky.
